ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • The Lydia Events Centre opens from 7.00am to 7.00pm. To secure a firm booking, a minimum of 50% non-refundable cost of the hall must be paid one week from the date of booking, and the balance payable one month after the initial payment. Where the event is less than two months from the date of booking, full payment must be made at the time of booking.
  • The rates may change without notice. For reservations, Grade A rates are for Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays as well as dinner parties and weddings on any day of the week. Grade B rates are for weekdays and formal events.
  • A minimum of N20,000.00 refundable deposit will be paid at the time of booking as caution fee. The deposit will be retained until after event and when the premises have been inspected by the Facility Manager. The deposit will be returned if hall is free of damage and no theft occurred.
  • Period of hire covers eight (8) hours per day. Extra hour attracts a charge of N10,000.00 per hour up to a maximum of 2 hours.
  • Projector and Screen is for rent at N10,000.00, Use of Sound Systems (Speakers Microphone etc. attracts a charge of N10,000.00 and Hall Stage at N20,000.00.
  • Decorators are charged N10,000.00 per night for overnight decoration.
  • Tables are available for hire at N500.00 each; however, tables are already included in the hall rate for Grade A. Clients must promptly evacuate all sets and stage properties immediately after their events. Failure to do so will attract a surcharge of N5,000.00 per day. Lydia Halls Event Centre reserves the right to dispose off sets not collected within a day.

All applicants are required to complete, sign and return the Application Form promptly for approval.
